Thembinkosi Lorch Says It Was Important to Score on Return! The star player recently returned to the football pitch.
Thembinkosi Lorch returned to the football pitch as Orlando Pirates defeated All Stars in the Nedbank Cup over the weekend. He spoke on the importance of that goal upon his return.
Nyoso suffered an injury in August last year, as Orlando Pirates drew 0-0 with SuperSport United in the DSTV Premiership. Fans had been waiting for his comeback with bated breath.
He came on in the second half, with the scores at 0-0 on Saturday night, replacing Kabelo Dlamini. The game completely changed after his introduction.
“It wasn’t easy for me coming back from the injury, five months out, I think, without playing football. I want to thank my family for the support, the technical team. The physio of the team pushed me, it wasn’t easy.
“Sitting on the bench helped me a lot,” revealed Lorch.
“I was watching the game, analysing the match, and I saw that All Stars were running all over, the coach told me that I must find the spaces, I must find the pockets.
“If you check the first goal, I was in that half-pocket, then I passed the ball to Zuka [Terrence Dzvukamanja] and he crossed to [Monnapule] Saleng.
“So, it was important for me to score, especially coming back from injury as that will boost my confidence going forward.” He added.
The Buccaneers faithful is excited to see Nyoso combine with fellow star player Monnapule Saleng. Thembinkosi Lorch Says It Was Important to Score on Return!
