Thoka Matsimela Proud Of Baroka’s Resilience! Baroka F.C held Kaizer Chiefs to a 1-1 draw away from home yesterday.
Bakgaga took the lead through Thamsanqa Masiya’s first league goal of the season. Unfortunately for the Limpopo based outfit, they conceded through their own doing.

Goodman Mosele scored an own goal in the second half. This ensured that the game finished in a 1-1 draw.
“It was tough for us,” Matsimela told SuperSport TV after the match.
“But I like the way the boys implemented themselves, the character, the fighting spirit. Just unlucky for this own goal. But it’s football, it happens. The boys showed fight and I liked their fighting spirit.
“They can play, they can run, they can penetrate. So I like the speed of the boys. So now we’re focusing on the next game. But the overall performance of my boys, I’m very impressed.

“The way we were controlling the game it looked as if we could steal three points. Unfortunately an own goal, but I can’t cry. It was just unlucky for us and we move on.
