Tinkler Explains Why Bacela Is Leaving The Club

Eric Tinkler the Orlando Pirates coach explains the reason why Lennox Bacela left the club. Bacela’s future at Pirates was in doubt heading into the new season after he fell behind, Kermit Erasmus and Lehlohonolo Majoro in the pecking order last term.

With the arrival of Tendai Ndoro, it seems Bacela became disillusioned with life at Pirates. The player was given a lifeline when he started in the absence of Gabuza in the 1-0 away win to AC Leopards of Congo in June.

“Becela needs to be playing week in and week out, that is what he wants and there is no guarantess that he will get that at Orlando Pirates” said Tinkler.
