Manchester United completed the signing of goalkeeper Andre Onana yesterday. He has revealed his pride at making the switch.
The goalkeeper transferred from Inter Milan for an undisclosed fee. He only spent one season in Italy, as he helped the team reach the 2023 UEFA Champions League final, eventually losing to Manchester City.
Despite this, he had the best save percentage in the competition. Onana is the reason United released long time goalkeeper David De Gea.
“To join Manchester United is an incredible honour and I have worked hard all my life to get to this moment, overcoming many obstacles along the way.” He told the club media.
