The PSL has been home to one of the best goalkeepers in the world since its inception in 1996. Five of the keepers mentioned in this list, if given the opportunity could play for any team in Europe and be successful at that.

The players mentioned in this list have each represented their countries at international level, and have also scooped up many individual awards and titles for their teams.

One of them is the current African Player of the year, having led his team to the CAF Champions League title last year, another one was at the peak of his career when he passed on.
