5) Leonardo Castro

Since joining Mamelodi Sundowns Leonardo Castro has been a player to watch out for. Gifted with an eye for goal Castro has brought precision in front of goal for Amasandawana. Though considered lucky to be playing alongside gifted players such as Billiat Castro has also played a huge role in creating space for midfielders to get chances of scoring.

4) Collins Mbesuma

Boasting of an illustrious career in the ABSA premiership Collins Mbesuma first made a mark in the PSL during his days with Kaizer Chiefs when he won the golden boot award. After trying his luck in England Mbesuma was not as lethal resulting in the centre forward returning to Africa. With many of the opinion Mbesuma was past his prime, the Zambian centre striker has this season proved otherwise with top performances for Mpumalanga Black Aces seeing him lead the scorers charts with 11 goals.

Zungu has had a fairy tale season with Sundowns resulting in the South African midfielder attracting interest from Portuguese topflight side Vitoria de Guimaraes FC. Zungu has already signed a two year contract and is set to leave for Europe at the end of the current campaign.

1) Khama Billiat

Based on current form Khama Billiat  is by far the best player in the ABSA Premiership at the moment. Silky skill coupled by elusive pace, Billiat is among the most difficult players to mark in the ABSA premiership. Gifted with great vision and an eye for goal Billiat currently lies second on the top goal scorers charts with 8 goals. Current form has seen French clubs tracking down Billiat.
