TS Galaxy Defender Khulumani Ndamane Draws Interest from Sekhukhune United and Orlando Pirates

TS Galaxy could be facing the prospect of losing another key player ahead of the 2025/26 season, as promising defender Khulumani Ndamane has reportedly attracted strong interest from top South African clubs Sekhukhune United and Orlando Pirates.

Sources close to the Rockets have revealed that the Bafana Bafana international is under close watch by both Premiership sides, following earlier enquiries from European clubs. While overseas interest remains unclear, the local attention appears more concrete for now.

“There are two clubs that have shown interest in the defender. Yes, there was interest from Europe but I can’t say what really happened, but the enquiries from Orlando Pirates and Sekhukhune United are what stands out at the moment. So let’s wait and see what happens next on Ndamane,” an insider told Soccer Laduma.

Despite the interest, TS Galaxy are reportedly reluctant to let go of their rising star, especially if it means strengthening direct competitors within the Betway Premiership. Another source highlighted the club’s desire to retain the defender but acknowledged that football transfers are always fluid.

“As much as there has been interest and enquiries, it’s believed that Galaxy are making sure they hold onto him. But since this is football, anything could happen. If there is an overseas club that comes through, then that would be the first priority,” the source said.

Ndamane’s rise has been impressive since his move from Kaizer Chiefs’ DStv Diski Challenge setup to TS Galaxy. The 21-year-old made an immediate impact in his debut PSL season, becoming a regular fixture in the Rockets’ backline. His consistent performances earned him a national team call-up and an international debut, raising his profile significantly.

Efforts to get official comments from TS Galaxy and Orlando Pirates were unsuccessful at the time of publication.

With the transfer window heating up, Ndamane’s future will be closely watched as the Rockets aim to hold onto one of their brightest talents amid growing competition.
