Tshegofatso Mabasa Backs Boitumelo Radiopane for Orlando Pirates Success

Orlando Pirates striker Tshegofatso Mabasa has tipped his young teammate, Boitumelo Radiopane, for a bright future at the club, praising his goal-scoring ability and overall quality as a striker.
Mabasa Impressed by Radiopane’s Goal-Scoring Instincts
Speaking at the MTN8 Goals For Charity Funds Disbursement event at the Zodwa Khoza Foundation in Diepkloof, Soweto, Mabasa, last season’s Betway Premiership Top Goal Scorer, shared his belief in Radiopane’s potential to thrive in the Buccaneers’ attack.
When asked about what fans can expect from the 21-year-old forward, Mabasa had a simple yet powerful response: “Goals.”
He elaborated on what makes Radiopane stand out: “As a striker, he’s a good player, and he’s definitely going to score goals. The boy knows how to finish. The boy knows how to time runs, knows how to make runs, he knows how to hold the ball, and we’ve seen that already.”
Importance of Consistency for Radiopane
While Mabasa was full of praise for Radiopane’s natural ability, he also highlighted the need for the youngster to maintain his form.
“[I] just hope that he can be consistent in continuing to deliver that,” Mabasa added, emphasizing the challenge young players face in sustaining top performances throughout a long season.
A Promising Future for Radiopane
Radiopane, a product of the Pirates academy, has already shown glimpses of his potential since breaking into the first team. With Mabasa’s endorsement and the right guidance, he could establish himself as a key figure in the Buccaneers’ attack in the coming seasons.
