UEFA Champions League Draw Revealed! Last night the draw for the upcoming UEFA Champions League was set last night. It was also the UEFA Awards, which saw Robert Lewandowski, Joshua Kimmich and Manuel Neuer claim individual awards. Didier Drogba claimed the President’s Award and Hansi Flick was named the UEFA Coach Of The Year.
There are a few heavyweight ties to look forward to in the group stages. Ronaldo’s Juventus will take on Messi’s Barcelona in Group G. These will probably the last Champions League ties that these two monumental football figures will face each other in.
Another heavyweight fixture to look forward to is Paris Saint Germain take on Manchester United in the group stages. PSG have two former United players in Angel Di Maria and Ander Herrera. The last time these two met was in 2019 in the round of 16.
Manchester United won 3-1 in Paris after losing 2-0 at home in the first leg. They qualified on away goals. Ole Gunnar Solksjaer was still an interim manager at the time, but was made permanent of defeating PSG.
Other big fixtures to look forward to are Bayern Munich vs. Atletico Madrid & Real Madrid vs. Inter Milan.
