Watch! Inside Itumeleng Khune’s Traditional Wedding

Itumeleng Khune means business in committing himself to the marriage as pictures and videos have circulated once again suggesting that he had a traditional wedding with his wife Siphelele this past weekend.

In 2019, they married traditionally after Khune paid lobola to the family of the KwaZulu-Natal-born wife.

In the recently circulating video, the couple is wearing traditional wedding attire and singing wedding songs while people around are taking pictures and celebrating along with them.

Khune and Siphelele share two kids together and Itu seems to be enjoying being a father and raising kids alongside his wife. The warm home is a wonderful environment for a child and that’s what their daughters are getting.

As for settling in the marriage, Khune joined his former teammates like Siphiwe Tshabalala, Reneilwe Letsolonyane, and Bernard Parker to mention a few who are committed to their wives and little families.

Before he got married, he was once involved in an open relationship with Minenhle “Minnie” Dlamini who’s a presenter at SuperSport.

Following a break-up with Minnie, he then had an affair with Sbahle Mpisane, the step-daughter of the famous Royal AM owner Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize.

Things may be going well for “Itu” in his family life but in football, he seems to have a stalled career as he hasn’t featured for Amakhosi for quite some time now.

He never played one match in the DStv Premiership and Nedbank Cup this season but only got to wear the gold and black jersey once in the MTN 8, meaning he had one appearance in all competitions. However, all his posts on social media still demonstrate the endurance he has.

Khune has played 327 games for Chiefs since he was promoted by coach Muhsin Ertugral at the age of 19. Under the new leadership of Arthur Zwane and Dillon Sheppard, he will be hoping to retain his position at the club next season.
