Watch! Mpho Makola Shows Us How He Celebrated Father’s Day With His Little Family

The off-season is a perfect time for professional footballers to spend quality time with their families. Players spend a lot of time training, traveling, camping and doing other football-related stuff that keeps them away from their family.

Coincidentally, Father’s Day is in June when they are resting and get to enjoy being fathers. Most of the time, the day to celebrate Daddies is spent by going out with the kids and their mothers as they celebrate the presence of a man in their lives.

Mpho Makola has a small family also and he took them out with a lady that seems to be their mother. He recently posted a video on Instagram and wrote, “Father’s Day, gratitude. “

MAKOLA HASN’T BEEN PLAYING LATELY, WHAT HAPPENED?

He was suspended from football for two months for pushing assistant referee Cledwin Baloyi after his team lost to Mamelodi Sundowns on penalties in the MTN 8 final.

Makola received a six-month suspension, with four of those suspended, from all matters related to football in a disciplinary committee (DC) hearing in December, Premier Soccer League (PSL) prosecutor Zola Majavu said.

Statement from Majavu: “Makola is suspended from participating in any football activities under the auspices of the league or SA Football Association for a period of six months, four months of which are suspended — an effective two-month suspension from February 1 to March 31.”

“The balance of the four months are suspended on condition that during the next 18 months he is not found guilty of similar misconduct.

This was the second occasion where Makola had been suspended for pushing a match official having committed a similar offense against referee Abongile Tom in a Telkom Knockout game between City and Kaizer Chiefs in 2019.
