Watch! See How Andile Jali And His Downs Teammates Overcome Boredom In The Camp
It’s the pre-season time as teams travel to have camps far away from their usual places and it can be certainly boring after training because players aren’t free to go wherever they want to go. The best way for lads to combat boredom is to spend time together rather than for each person to stay in their room.
Sundowns recently traveled to Rustenburg where they’re having a camp before the start of the 2022/23 DStv Premiership season. Andile Jali loves playing around with the guys and he’s that special one in a million. He’s an alive person and seems like one of the craziest in the squad.

He recently posted a video of himself and teammates playing a phone game where he seems to be beating his opponents. He’s heard saying, “badliwa abantu” meaning people are getting beaten.
Jali has been a wall in the Sundowns’ midfield, he contributes immensely both offensively and defensively. Last season, he produced splendid performances and was rewarded with awards. He won MTN Last Man Standing, Nedbank Cup Player of the Tournament, and DStv Premiership Midfielder of the Season. Now, Masandawana are back for pre-season as they’re preparing to try and defend the three domestic trophies they won last season.
JALI ON WINNING AWARDS
“I am very excited to be recognized for my determination and passion for the team. These awards would not have been made possible without my teammates and the coaching crew,” he told Sundowns Media.

“At a club like Sundowns, you must be ready to compete for trophies at the highest level,” he continued.
“Therefore, it is critical to build one’s fitness because of the number of games the team plays every season. I am glad that I was able to stay strong and competitive throughout the campaign”
