Wayne Rooney Signs With An American Club! We didn’t see this coming and if you thought the former Manchester United star would and his career at Everton where it all started, you got i wrong.

Rooney has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with Major League Soccer club DC United. He will officially complete his move when the US mid-season transfer window opens on 10 July.

The 32-year-old’s deal is reportedly worth £10m making him the highest paid player in DC United’s history. Rooney took to Instagram to announce the move writing, “The start of a new chapter. Can’t wait to get started @dcunited.”
