“We Could Have Done Better Against SuperSport”-Eric Tinkler

The Orlando Pirates coach Eric Tinkler said that the Gods were not on their side as they lost 1-0 to SuperSport United. It was the second time the lights had gone out while they played against SuperSport at Peter Mokaba and they lost both times.

“I don’t think the Gods were on our side for this one”

“It’s actually the second time we play SuperSport here where the lights go out and co-incidentally we lose both games, so I don’t know if there’s a bad juju here, maybe?” He said

“Disappointed obviously the way we conceded the goal last night. If you look at it overall, it’s the only two chances they created was Boxall, he had a header from a corner and then from the free kick” he added.

Tinkler said even though his disappointed with the way his team played, he will have to go back to the drawing board. Hopefully they will do better in their next game this weekend.
