“We have corrected our First leg mistakes”- Says Eric Tinkler

Orlando Pirates Football Club will take a journey to Cairo this week for the CAF Confederation Cup battle with Zamalek SC, at Stade Petro Sport in Cairo Egypt, the match will kick at 20h30. Both teams  have already qualified for the semifinals & will fight for the top position in Group B.

Eric Tinkler will need all his players to be fit for the upcoming match this weekend, with the players like Matlaba and Phungwayo returning to full fitness after they sustained injuries. Orlando Pirates lost 2-1 to Zamalek SC in the first leg home match at Mbombela stadium.

“Obviously, it’s a big boost to have Thabo back as well as Patrick and will both be traveling with the team to Egypt,” Tinkler quoted from goal.com.

“Facing Zamalek is always going to be a difficult challenge but this is who we are, we thrive under difficult conditions. We have corrected our 1st leg mistakes. It was a difficult but necessary lesson that we learnt”said Tinkler on the official OPFC facebook page.

The match will be broadcast LIVE on SABC 1 and  Supersport 4.
