“We’re Going For Glory Again”- Dean Furman

SuperSport United and the Bafana Bafana midfielder Dean Furman says his side is prepared to defend their Telkom Knockout title ahead of tonight’s first round match against Polokwane City. United face Rise and Shine in the Telkom KnockOut Last 16 at the old Peter Mokaba Stadium tonight, hoping to start producing positive results after their poor start to the 2015/16 season.

Mlungu as he is effectively known agrees that Supersport United is under a lot of pressure as defending champions, but he is believes they can win against Polokwane City.

“It’s all about us making sure we progress in this tournament,” says Furman to KickOff.

“We know we’re defending champions, we know there’ll be pressure on us but we’ve got a lot of confidence and we’re going for glory again, as the team did last season.”

Dean Furman is expected to return to Gordon Igesund’s starting XI line-up this evening, after serving his two-match ban following his red card in their 4-1 Absa Premiership loss to Kaizer Chiefs two weeks ago.
