“Who Am I To Go Down the Level of Junior Khanye?” – Arthur Zwane! The Amakhosi tactician has responded to the football analyst.

Junior Khanye was critical of the Kaizer Chiefs victory over Casric Stars in the Nedbank Cup this weekend. Head coach Arthur Zwane responded by saying that every critic has their opinion.

Khanye, a former Kaizer Chiefs player and teammate to Arthur Zwane, has been very critical of the side the whole season. Amakhosi scrapped to a 2-1 win over Casric Stars on Sunday evening.

“It is his opinion, which I respect as a former player,” Mangethe told the press at the quarterfinal Nedbank Cup draw last night.

“But who I am to go down to the level of Junior Khanye, if you understand what I’m saying? This is football, I respect everyone’s opinion.” He spoke.

However, 10111 admitted that they have not been consistent at all this season, which has led to frustrations from the Amakhosi faithful.

“I am not too worried because when you lead as a coach, you lead players who you see are trying hard and doing their best all the time to win games. 

“Sometimes of the results are not forthcoming. We blow hot and cold.

“Sometimes when we think we have momentum, there is a break. If you remember, before or just after Pirates there was a break, and it breaks that momentum. 

“We have played nearly all the games this season without any consistent line-up. I would have liked to have had a stable first XI to say, ‘This is our team’ — and we build on it and make sure the identity is there. 

“Unfortunately, some players have been missing because of injuries and unforeseen circumstances, but it is part and parcel of the game, and we can’t complain.”  The tactician spoke.
