Where will Teko Modise go to?

It has been confirmed that Teko Modise will not be renewing his contract with Mamelodi Sundowns when it comes to an end next month. This Modise announced a few weeks ago in the media.

Teko Modise got his professional break when he signed for Supersport United in 2006 and has never looked back since then.

He went on to play for Orlando Pirates and he was at the peak of his career. However things did not end well at Pirates and he found his way to Mamelodi Sundowns.

Throughout his career he was plagued by trophy less seasons and this is something that haunted him throughout his playing days, with people saying that whenever he leaves a team, that particular team goes on to win trophies.

He managed to break the duck when he won the PSL title with Mamelodi Sundowns in 2014 and success soon followed. Winning the Nedbank Cup, Telkom Knockout, CAF Champions league and the CAF Super Cup.

With such success at Sundowns one would think that he would want to stay on and possibly end his career there, however such is not the case.

With his career in its dying embers Teko might be looking for more play time elsewhere. The rumour mill has been buzzing with punters saying Kaizer Chiefs is his possible destination. Only time will tell.
