Wits capture Claasen!

Bidvest Wits have completed the signing of Bafana Bafana international, Daylon Claasen, bolstering Head Coach Gavin Hunt’s squad for the new 2017/18 campaign.

Coach Hunt subsequently confirmed to media last night, June 28, that the player will report to the Students today, with a conclusion of a medical and a deal pending.

The 27-year-old has spent almost a decade plying his trade in Europe, after making the move to Ajax Amsterdam from Ajax Cape Town in 2008.

Now, as his contract with German-based side, 1860 Munich comes to an end tomorrow, June 30, the player has put pen to paper on what is reportedly a multimillion-rand deal with the 2016/17 Absa Premiership champions.

The club confirmed the news on their official Twitter account.
