Wits and City Joint League leaders
This is rather the most exciting PSL season so far in the history of PSL. Over the past two weeks, fans, journalists and clubs have been having headaches about who will win the league. Every game we have see the league table leader moving up and down. This troubles us but excites us in predicting who will win the league.
Bidvest Wits drew 0-0 against Chippa United at Sisa Dukashe stadium. It was a quiet game from both sides and Wits threatened Chippa United but Chippa absorbed the pressure and tried to hit Wits in the Second half. The draw means that Wits moves up to the top of the table with 38 points equal to Cape Town City. Wits has a game in hand and Cape Town City have played 20 games and left with 10 games to seal the deal if they are to win the league.
The Chilli Boys on the other-hand were without head coach Dan Malesela. ‘Dance’ is in a stable condition after being admitted to hospital on Sunday – complaining of chest pains. The draw means that Chippa is 9th on the league table and all they are playing for is to be on the top 8 and they will also fight for the Nedbank cup.
