Yeye marks return with goal as Katsande’s winner brings relief to Amakhosi

Reneliwe Letsholonyane proved just how important a player he is to Kaizer Chiefs after marking his return from the sidelines with a 72nd minute equaliser which was critical in ending Amakhosi’s winless streak. Chiefs had been trailing from the 5th minute but Yeye brought Amakhosi back into the contest.

With the encounter seemingly headed for yet another glamour boy’s draw Willard Katsande scored an all important 85th minute winner which brought joy to the Amakhosi camp.

Kaizer Chiefs had gone on their worst run in 7 years and victory would have brought relief to Steve Khompela who was beginning to run out of answers in the midst of what had been a poor run.
