Zulu King MisuZulu Promises to Support AmaZulu 100%! The newly throned figure has devoted himself to the regional club.

AmaZulu have the full support of Zulu King MisuZulu. He has promised the club that he will be 100% behind them.

In addition to his support, MisuZulu has also promised to attend all their big matches, especially home matches at the Moses Mabhida Stadium. This is a tradition which his father had.

His father also has a stadium named after him, the King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium, which is used by Richards Bay FC. Should he support local football long enough, he is also likely to have a stadium in Kwa-Zulu Natal named after him.

“Thank you for making me a patron of the club,” the King said.

“I appreciate the honour and it will stay that way forever. Thank you very much for the wonderful gift that you have brought for me…on behalf of myself and my family; thank you very much.

“I promise you that the family is behind you 100% and all the Amakhosi and the whole nation is behind us 100%.

“I know we are going through a really difficult time at the moment where there’s a lot of confusion in the family as to who the King of the Zulu nation is, but I think it’s a bit clear now who the rightful King is, so there should be no confusion to anyone at all. I’m behind you 100%.

“I offer myself to you and commit that I will attend all your big games, especially your home games; I’ll be there to support you 100%.” He added.

Club chairman Sandile Zungu offered the King with 4 live cows and a personalised club shirt. Zulu King MisuZulu Promises to Support AmaZulu 100%!
