Zungu: “My Ultimate Goal Is To play Overseas”

Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Bongani “Ben 10” Zungu confirmed that one big team in Portugal is interested in him. The 23-year-old is currently with South African national team in South America and he was playing alongside Andile Jali in midfield when Bafana Bafana came out 1-0  victorious against Costa Rica. Zungu’s contract with the Chloorkop based side ends at the end of the season and Sundowns have made it clear that they want to keep Zungu in the club.

According to KickOff, Zungu says that despite the interest of numerous clubs he is completely focused on the tour with Bafana Bafana.

“It is not something I would like to delve into at this moment in time as we prepare for the Honduras game but yes, a few clubs including one big one from Portugal have made some serious enquiries,” says Zungu from the Bafana camp.

“Definitely, my ultimate goal is to play overseas; that is where you can take your profession to the next level, mixing it up with the best in the business.”cocluded Zungu
