Zwane admits they’d like to have Nga and Letsoalo
The previous January transfer window had rumours of Kaizer Chiefs’ interest in Victor Letsoalo flying around but it wouldn’t be easy to secure him with Royal AM making it difficult for teams to table offers.
The Royal AM’s boss lady made it clear in the statement that they were not looking to sell Letsoalo to any club. It’s vivid that if anyone interested in the striker, they would have to put a lucrative offer on the table.
Another forward that Chiefs have reportedly been looking to bring to Naturena is Chippa United’s Eva Nga. He’s a big man and very challenging to the defenders. He found the back of the net ten times in the DStv Premiership this season.

The talks between the Cameroonian striker and Chiefs were said to have been held but didn’t end successfully as they couldn’t agree on personal terms. “Yes, the deal is off, we couldn’t agree on personal terms and as things stand, it doesn’t look like Eva Nga will be going to Chiefs as initially planned,” the player’s agent Charles Domingoea had told iDiski Times.
Speaking after the 2-2 stalemate against Swallows on Saturday afternoon, Zwane admitted that they needed a striker and it would be difficult to get one that meet their expectations.
“It’s going to be the biggest challenge to get everyone that we need as a club,” Zwane admitted post-match.
“That’s my belief right now because when you look at left-backs, left central defenders and strikers, how many strikers do we have in the country right now that have scored more than Peter Shalulile.
“Can you get Peter Shalulile from Sundowns? No. There’s only one player that is trying [to match his scoring feats] maybe it’s Eva Nga, but is Eva Nga a Kaizer Chiefs type of player we’re looking for? It remains to be seen.

“Is Victor Letsoalo the type of player who can play for Kaizer Chiefs, the answer is yes, but can we get him? So those are the challenges you are faced with and it’s the reality. And the midfielders like the number six, how many quality number sixes do we have in the country that can come play for Kaizer Chiefs?
“So we will have to develop them because we don’t want a number six to go up there and get yellow and red cards, we want a ballplayer, we want to play with flair we want to dominate, we want our people to come to stadiums to watch football.”
