Pierre Emerick Aubameyang Robbed at Gunpoint at His Home! The Gabonese striker recently experienced a very traumatic event.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang was at his home with his family when criminals broke into their home and stole some possessions. This happened in Barcelona, Spain.

Events of this traumatic nature are unfortunately quite common in the Catalonia region. Many players have experienced some sort of robbery in the past.

However, this situation was different because there were people at home. Typically, these robberies happen when players are at matches with their families, with no one at home.

This time, Aubameyang was at home, and they were held at gunpoint.

“Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was physically assaulted during an armed robbery at his home on Monday morning, according to reports from Spain,” publication The Mirror reports, as per El Pais.

“At least four men are alleged to have entered the garden of Aubameyang’s home in the Castelldefels area of the Catalan capital, armed with firearms and iron bars.

“It is claimed that Aubameyang was threatened with the weapons before being beaten, with the men also intimidating the footballer’s wife to ensure they gained access to a safe inside the property.

“The men are said to have taken multiple valuable items from the safe, including pieces of jewellery, before fleeing in a white Audi A3,” the report states.

This unfortunate event comes during a transfer saga which saw Chelsea make an apparent bid to sign Aubameyang. According to reports, he is likely to leave before the close of the transfer window on Thursday.

He is currently playing second fiddle to Robert Lewandowski, after falling out of favour with head coach Xavi. Pierre Emerick Aubameyang Robbed at Gunpoint at His Home!
