Big signings working for Sundowns

Ever heard of the saying ‘money gets you every where’? This saying is evident at Chloorkop, Mamelodi Sundowns. Sundowns have come up with a brilliant strategy of buying exceptionally performing players and using them against other teams.  You ask how? Well its simple they sign the big names and if you don’t make it to the starting line up or substitute bench, they loan you to other performing teams. Once you are loaned to that team you are when Sundowns playing against that team, no matter how good you are that particular team cannot play you. This strategy seems to have landed the Premier Soccer League giants the Championship Trophy for the 2013/2014 season.

They only departed ways with Katlego Mphela when his signing deal was sealed by Kaizer Chiefs football club. The likes of Teko Geneal Modise, who they saigned from Orlando Pirates have worked in their favour. Modise has been nominated for both PSL awards and Gauteng sports awards

Mamelodi Sundowns have a huge squad in total and everyone is aware of that. When a player is approached by the club regardless of him knowing its current number of players who don’t make it to the starting line-up, that player is likely to accept the deal simply because of the salary a price offer it puts on the table. After all they are the highest paying PSL club in SA. If you ask anyone it is simply working for them. Predictions are pointing in the same direction in the coming season. Word on the rife reported by the Siya crew is that Bafana ba style are looking to sign Siyabonga Sangweni. Well we will see how that goes.
