Brazilian Legend Rivaldo Is Going Back To Mogi Mirim
The 43 year old Rivaldo who is a Brazilian legend has decided to come out of retirement to help his struggling Mogi Mirim team. He called time on his career last year in March but seen how Mogi is struggling, this has forced him to take drastic measures to save the team.
The team is currently at the bottom of the Brazilian Serie B, managed just three points in eight games. Rivaldo who has starred for clubs such as AC Milan and Barcelona has decided to join the team of Mogi Mirim.
“I believe that training daily with the team and with my experience we will get through this complicated moment we are experiencing” he said. “Once again I will sacrifice my family for the sake of the club, but I hope soon to see our team in a more honourable position in the competition” he added.
“I stopped playing professionally 15 months ago and if my knee is fine I can even help in some games but training will help me decide” he said.
