The only goal of the game came thanks to a Neo Maema effort, which was assisted by Peter Shalulile. Mudau was the one who provided Shalulile with the secondary assist.

“We’re very happy, to be honest, because we were playing away. Its not easy to beat [Kaizer] Chiefs at their home.” Mudau told the Mamelodi Sundowns media.

“They were coming from a loss, a 4-0 loss to AmaZulu, but obviously they are a big team. They can’t manage to lose three games in a row, but I’m very happy that we managed to keep a clean sheet at the back, and we managed to get one goal and we won.

“Every time when I play, I want to make sure I do help the team both in defense and attack. The coach gave me information that I need to go forward more. I’m glad that I did find Peter [Shalulile] and then Peter got Neo [Maema] and then we scored.

“TS Galaxy are a great team; they have a lot of experienced players. But we just have to go there and make sure that we play our normal game.

“I’m very happy about the supporters, they came in numbers, then they showed us love. And then they kept us going you know” he added.
