“I tell Rakhale to play entertainment football but positively”, says Steve Lekoela

Having retired from the game Steve Lekoela is now seeking to make a positive difference by helping current players at Pirates reach the peak of their game.

Lekoela is in constant contact with rising Pirates star Thabo Rakhale who he has urged to focus,”I am happy for Rakhale to play for Pirates, I speak with Jomo everyday. Before the game I tell him to focus, and have discipline. I tell him to play entertainment football but positively,” said Lekoela.

Rakhale has been a revelation at Pirates where he has shown great skill while at the same time scoring important goals.

Steve Lekoela is one of the top players to ever represent Orlando Pirates. During his days at the Sea Robbers, Lekoela was handed with the number 10 jersey owing to the vision, skill and eye for goal that he possessed.
