Livingston FC Already Excited with New Signing Aphelele Teto! The youngster recently completed the transfer.

Aphelele Teto joined Livingston FC from TS Galaxy last week. head coach David Martindale has already been impressed by the acquisition.

The 20-year-old will play his trade in the Scottish Premier League. The Rockets confirmed that the interest in the winger began in December 2022, during their visit to Turkey.

“We watched TS Galaxy training, and this wee kid was unbelievable,” an excited Martindale spoke.

“He brought a smile to your face, so I kept in touch with the people at the club and we struck up a deal with no upfront fee.

“TS have a large percentage of any sell-on and we’ll keep a large percentage. If the player comes in and does well it’s a win-win for both parties.

“I think he’s one for the future, I won’t put too much expectation on him now.

“I’ve not seen another kid at that age in Scotland with the technical ability he has, so I’m really excited for the future.” The coach spoke.

Teto also expressed his delight in securing a move to Europe at his age.

“I am very happy to have the opportunity to play for Livingston FC in the Scottish Premiership. It has always been my childhood dream to play football in Europe,” the youngster spoke.

“I would like to thank TS Galaxy Football Club for giving me the opportunity to play professional football as well as our head coach for believing in me.

“I will do my best in Scotland and hopefully my performance could open many doors for other South African youngsters.”
