Pirates go through another bad patch

Soweto giants Orlando Pirates appear to be going through another bad patch after slumping to a 1 nil loss at the hands of Free States Stars yesterday evening.

The Sea robbers had been making steady progress after a disastrous start to the 2015/2016 season but it appears as though Eric Tinkler’s charges are again struggling.

Pirates last week crashed to a 2-1 loss against Sundowns. The Bucaneers were hoping to bounce back from the loss to the Brazilians but an 80th minute strike by Ayanda Nkosi saw Pirates losing their 8th game of the season.

Defeat saw Pirates fall from 9th to 11th position.
