Supersport, Polokwane face off

Saturday presents an interesting match up pitting Supersport United and Polokwane City. Gordon Ingesund will have been disappointed after his charges were held to a 2-2 draw by Maritzburg United on Saturday, making the Polokwane encounter vital for their bid to enter into the top 6.

Supersport are currently 8th on the standings with 17 points but Ingesund is eager to work his team up the ABSA premiership ladder.

Supersport will however have to shake off the challenge of Polokwane City who are a wounded lion after crashing to a 1-0 loss at the hands of Bidvest Wits last weekend. Polokwane are just two points above the bottom three making their clash against Supersport of utmost importance.

Polokwane have registered just three wins this season, but Saturday would require a brave performance if they are to win their fourth game of the season.
