3. He was born in Kimberly , Northern Cape.

4.  He played for Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs.

5. Tau started out at Basotho Tigers in 1999.

6. In 2001/02he moved to Maritzburg City.

7. He signed with Pirates in 2002/03.

8. He later joined Kaizer Chiefs in 2005.

9. He scored his first goal for Chiefs in the league match against Sliver Star in 2006.

10. He was once a coach.
