“Komphela Is More Like A Father” Says Parker

Kaizer Chiefs player, Bernard Parker  says  Steve Komphela is very much a father figure kind of coach as the team prepares for the pre-season. Steve Komphel’s position as the new coach for Kaizer Chiefs was confirmed last month as he took Stuart Baxter position and will be the new coach for the 2015/16 season.

Parker who is expected to continue leading the line under the new coach went on to say on the clubs official page “We had a good start to the pre-season. The coach has been motivating us to improve as a team and as individuals” he said.

“Doctor Khumalo, as the assistant coach is also a great help. Komphela is very much a father figure kind of coach, we truly enjoy working with him” he added.
