Bafana Bafana Prepares For The COSAFA Cup

Bafana Bafana have already started to prepare for the COSAFA Cup Competition that will take place from the 17th May. Their first training took place on Monday at the AW Muller stadium.

Mondli Mpoto, Athenkosi Dlala, Kwanda Mngonyama, Thapelo Morena, Thamsanqa Sangweni and Phumelele Bhengu have joined the twenty-man squad by Monday night. It is a pity that Daniel Cardoso and Mzikayise Mashaba will not be playing due to their injuries.

Dlala and Mpoto are still in school, their schedules are still being getting fixed. South Africa will be facing Botswana in the quarterfinals on the 24th May at the Moruleng Stadium. On wednsday the team wil be heading off to Lesotho to play two training games.

The team is set to play Malawi in another training match on Friday the 22nd of May in Rustenburg.
