Aubemeyang to stay at Dortmund

The newly-crowned African Player of the Year was in electric goalscoring form in 2015, but his coach is adamant he will stay and also wants to keep the Liverpool target

Borussia Dortmund’s Thomas Tuchel has dismissed the prospect of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leaving in January, while also assuring fans that he wants to keep Neven Subotic.

The Gabon international has been one of the revelations of the Bundesliga season, as he leads the league scoring charts ahead of Robert Lewandowski.

Those 18 goals in 17 games have inevitably attracted attention from some of Europe’s top clubs, including Arsenal, but Tuchel is adamant he is going nowhere.

“We have not considered Aubameyang’s departure for a single second,” the coach affirmed to Dortmund’s official website.
