“The best part of my career was playing for Orlando Pirates”, says Moeneeb Josephs
Bidvest Wits goalkeeper Moeneeb Josephs says playing for Orlando Pirates is perhaps the best part of his playing career. “The best part of my career was playing for Orlando Pirates because every footballer goes through their career wanting to win things, and been given the chance by Pirates to play that stage of football was something else. My game went to the next level” said Josephs.
Josephs said he never understood what winning things meant but having had the opportunity of turning out for the Sea Robbers he got be enlightened about the significance of winning silverware.
The Wits goal minder also highlighted what it meant to represent his country outlining playing in the 2010 world cup as a major milestone in his footballing career.
Josephs made the remarks during an interview with 24 hour news channel ANN7.
The Bidvest goalkeeper also underlined his tough journey to stardom, having grown up without a father and come from a community where not too many people become as successful as he did.
