Orlando Pirates Confirm Three Loan Departures! The Buccaneers have been quite busy thus far in the transfer window. The Mighty Orlando Pirates has seen many players enter and many players leave the prestigious club.
Orlando Pirates this morning confirmed the loan departures of both Mthokosizi Dube and Gladwin Shitolo. The duo will join Golden Arrows on season long stints.
Pirates have also confirmed that Justice Chabalala will remain on loan at Bloemfontein Celtic for yet another year. This departure news follows the departure news of last week when Orlando Pirates released 8 players.
Among these 8 players were Xola Mlambo, Augustine Mulenga and Tercious Malepe. Orlando Pirates themselves have signed a total of 5 players so far this summer.
This includes Thulani Hlatshwayo, Deon Hotto, Terrence Dzvukamanja, Collins Makgeke and Wayde Jooste.
Orlando Pirates released a statement on their website following these loan departures:
“Orlando Pirates Football Club has agreed for Mthokozisi Dube and Gladwin Shitolo to join Golden Arrows on loan.
The duo will be at Abafana Bes’thende for the 2020/21 season.
Orlandopiratesfc.com can also confirm that the club has agreed to extend Justice Chabalala’s stay at Bloemfontein Celtic for another season”
It seems as if Gladwin Shitolo will struggle to ever play for the Bucs again. Should he not regain a starting spot, he will either be sold or his contract will be terminated when he returns.
Mthokozisi Dube will have to fight for his right-back spot from another club. This is after Pirates acquired the services of right wing-back Wayde Jooste from Highlands Park.
