Bernard Parker Excited to Play in Soweto Derby After Returning from Injury! Amakhosi will play their fierce rivals tomorrow in the league.

Kaizer Chiefs visits Orlando Pirates in the DSTV Premiership tomorrow afternoon. Club captain Bernard Parker is thrilled to be able to participate in such an encounter.

The veteran missed their last match against Baroka FC as they won 1-0, through a late Khama Billiat goal. Head coach Stuart Baxter confirmed that Die Hond would be back for the Soweto Derby.

Parker is nearing the record of Siphiwe Tshabalala of the most Soweto Derby appearances for Amakhosi. This is in the league and other cup competitions too.

“One of the best derbies I featured in was captaining the team in the 100^th league derby last season, which we won.

“While I would describe these games as always being a nerve-wracking encounter, I never want to lose against Pirates,” he added.
