Mamelodi Sundowns will play twice against Orlando Pirates in the MTN 8 semi-finals in the month of October. Co-coach Manqoba Mngqithi insists that all the remaining teams are doing quite well.
While Masandawana will play The Buccaneers, AmaZulu will take on Kaizer Chiefs in their two-legged encounter. All these teams have been doing well this season, as per Mngqithi.
Their opponents, Pirates currently sit on top of the DSTV Premiership table, one point ahead of them. They have however, played one game less.
Usuthu sit on third one place behind Sundowns. They have the same number of points, but the champions have a better goal difference.
“I think this was never going to be an easy draw for anyone,” Mngqithi told the club media.
“When you’ve got four teams that are currently doing very well you could expect anything. We could’ve had AmaZulu or Kaizer Chiefs and all of them are currently doing well at the moment.
“We just have to take whoever we get and trust in our process and trust in our team.”
