Sibusiso Vilakazi Looking Forward to Facing Kaizer Chiefs! Babina Noko host Amakhosi this weekend.

Babina Noko finds themselves in the top 8 and in the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup for the first time in their history. Back-to-back victories have aided their form and particularly optimism ahead of the match.

“We’ve won back-to-back games, so surely the confidence should be up, surely the fixture on Sunday should be appealing and we should be looking up the ladder and looking to get a fair output out of the game,” Vila elaborated to the press, as per Sowetan.

“We are looking forward to it after winning back-to-back games. It should be interesting.

“But we want to continue winning games more than anything.

“We don’t look further in terms of where we want to end. Just take it one game at a time.

“The momentum of the team needs to understand that we need to win every game that we play, regardless of any team, because the situation on its own requires consistency in the remaining games of the season.”

Amakhosi themselves are on a decent run of form and have also secured their spot in the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup.

“Chiefs also have momentum, and you could see how happy they were [when they drew Pirates in the semi-final], that shows the confidence that they have to go all the way and try to win each and every game that they are going to play.

“So, most likely us, we should be licking our lips on playing that game and also saying we’ve put ourselves in a position to be in the top eight and it would not be a bad finish overall in terms of how we started and had a set back then find ourselves reclimbing again.”
