Jose Riveiro Is Fully Motivated to Take on SuperSport United! The Buccaneers take on Matsatsantsa this weekend in the league.

Orlando Pirates host SuperSport United in the DSTV Premiership tomorrow evening. Head coach Jose Riveiro claims that they will be fully prepared for the encounter.

The Buccaneers have had a full week to prepare for the match, having last played against Venda Football Academy last Saturday.

“One more week, we’re happy after we managed to qualify to the next round in the previous tournament [Nedbank Cup] and now we’re looking to have the opportunity to face SuperSport and have the chance to reduce the distance in the table with them. [We’re] fully motivated and we’re going to be more than prepared.” The Spaniard told the press.

We will play finals until the end, in the league and in the Nedbank [Cup]. Every game is going to be crucial for us.

“The ones [teams] who are playing for relegation, the ones who are playing for the top positions, for the possibility to play in Africa next season and it goes without saying that for Pirates its very important to find ourselves in that position in the end of the season. There are more teams fighting for the same objective with us in this moment and SuperSport is the one with more advantage.

“So, like I said there is an opportunity to get three points and at the same time that our immediate opponents aren’t getting the points. That’s it. So, when we don’t play against them, we are waiting and expecting that they don’t get it [three points] in their own games.

“This time it’s an opportunity to do it we and don’t lose that opportunity to reduce the distance. Its simple like that, we don’t have to check our phones the day after to see what’s going on with our opponents. We have the chance to do it ourselves.”
