Ajax still in the dark about Coetzee’s whereabouts.
Rivaldo Coetzee who has in recent times been linked with a more lucrative move to Mamelodi Sundowns, has not yet surfaced at Ajax Cape Town.
Ajax officially started their preseason training on Monday, however the player was a no show. The player who is still contracted to the team seems really determined to make the move up North.
The prospect of playing for the current African Champions seems to be the reason behind his disappearance.
Former Ajax Cape Town mentor Mushin Ertugral hinted that it would be advisable for Coetzee to move to Sundowns before making an overseas move. Keagan Dolly is quite the example, he spent a season and a half at Sundowns then made the desired overseas move.
It remains to be seen what will transpire in the near future. Ajax are yet to respond in the media about their player going AWOL.
