AmaZulu & BELL Equipment Host Successful Clinics in Gauteng! The Kwa-Zulu Natal based outfit continued to reach out with their community efforts.

AmaZulu and one their sponsors BELL Equipment, headed down to Soweto to host coaching clinics. They were joined by the likes of Naughty Mokoena and Maimane Phiri.

Usuthu have been hosting coaching clinics since way back in 2012. Under new management, Sandile Zungu, these social responsibility efforts have not ceased to exist.

“We had a very successful clinic, seeing as that over 100 kids turned out, with great enthusiasm too, both girls and boys.” Said AmaZulu Trust manager Mpho Dintwa

“We were assisted by the SOWETO Football Association, Spar came on board as well, with refreshment packs for each kid that was participating.

“BELL Equipment also came through to give their support, they gave away caps and masks

“We were also joined by former player, Naughty Mokoena, and Goma Goma Masango which was a nice touch, they were also as he assisted by younger coaches in rolling out the program led by Coach Ronnie in lifeskills and the basics of football development,” she added.

Since Sandile Zungu took over Usuthu, the club has experienced a massive resurgence in the PSL. They are one of the best performing clubs on and off the pitch.

With only 3 matches remaining in the league, they are likely to secure a top 2 position. This will afford them the opportunity to participate in next season’s CAF Champions League.
