AmaZulu Fire Head Coach Brandon Truter After Poor Results! Usuthu have parted ways with him after a series of bad performances.
AmaZulu have let go of Brandon Truter after a sequence of bad results, particularly in the league. They lost 1-0 at home to Richards Bay FC on Wednesday night.
This defeat was Usuthu’s third league loss in a row, following losses to Chippa United and Mamelodi Sundowns. Truter admitted himself that his job is on the line after losing on Wednesday.
Now, he will not be able to fix the country and beat Kaizer Chiefs in the second leg of their MTN 8 semi-final, as he had promised.
“AmaZulu Football Club would like to announce that it has parted ways with head coach Brandon Truter. The 52-year-old was in charge of the team for just over five months.
“He has impressed since taking over the reins following the departure of Benni McCarthy in March. However, the current season has proved difficult, and the team has recorded just three DStv Premiership wins.
“Truter’s record is as follows: 19 games, seven wins, seven draws, and five losses. We thank him for his cooperation and hard work for the club and wish him luck in his future career.” A statement from AmaZulu read.
Truter has now been fired from his last two job roles, after getting the sack at Swallows FC, despite helping them to promotion and a top-8 finish in their first season in the DSTV Premiership.
Knowing the PSL, he is likely to find a coaching role soon. AmaZulu Fire Head Coach Brandon Truter After Poor Results!
