Bafana Bafana Announce Squad for CHAN Qualifier Against Egypt

Bafana Bafana have officially unveiled their squad for the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against Egypt, with assistant coach Helman Mkhalele leading the team for the crucial two-legged tie.
The CHAN tournament, which is exclusively for locally-based players, presents a valuable opportunity for South African talent to showcase their abilities on the continental stage. However, as the first qualifying round does not fall within an international FIFA break, clubs are not obligated to release players, making squad selection a challenging task.
Notably, Orlando Pirates winger Monnapule Saleng has been included in the squad despite not featuring for his club since December. His selection suggests that Mkhalele sees him as a key player for the upcoming fixtures.
