Bafana Bafana will face Liberia in AFCON Qualifiers next weekend. Head coach Hugo Broos has named a 23-man squad for the encounter.
The Belgian has announced a preliminary 35-man squad two weeks ago, which has now been trimmed down to 23. Bafana Bafana will host Libera on the 24th of March at the Orlando Stadium and travel to Liberia for the return fixture on the 28th.
“Everybody knows the importance of these games and supporters can lift you to a higher level [if the stadium is full],” he told the media.
“This is what we need on the day. Let us hope that South Africans come and support us at the stadium [in great numbers].”
