Baroka FC Appoint Dylan Kerr As New Head Coach
Former Black Leopards coach Dylan Kerr returns to the PSL to take charge of another Limpopo based Absa Premiership outfit, Baroka FC replacing Zambian mentor Wedson Nyirenda who quit in a huff last week.
52-year-old, Kerr put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half-year deal and could assume the hot seat for Bakgaga next league outing against Cape Town City on January 5 subject to processing of his South African work permit though it is highly doubtful that he’ll have his work permit by Sunday.
The appointment of Kerr underlines the Absa Premiership coaches’ merry go round as club reshuffle and continue to exchange coaches amongst themselves with no new local talent coming to the fore.
The 2019 January coach of the month, Kerr successfully managed to keep Black Leopards up with the big boys in the Premiership manouvering a relegation fight but will definitely be seeking a turnaround of fortunes with Baroka.
