Adidas Drop Kurt Zouma After Controversial Footage of Him Kicking and Slapping Cat! The French defender is currently under massive scrutiny after this footage.

Kurt Zouma has been seen kicking and slapping his household and domestic cat through released footage. As a result, technical sponsors Adidas have dropped the athlete.

The West Ham United defender is currently facing massive scrutiny for the released footage. He is seen at home, somewhat abusing his own pet animal.

A video obtained by The Sun allegedly shows footballer Kurt Zouma kicking and hitting his cat.

“We have concluded our investigation and can confirm Kurt Zouma is no longer an Adidas contracted athlete

“No animal should be subject to cruel and unwarranted abuse.” The club said in a statement.

There are huge calls for the Premier League contract to cancel the contract of the defender. The club has conducted its own investigation at the moment and will not make any decision at this stage.

“Kurt and the club are co-operating fully with the investigation and the player has willingly complied with the steps taken in the initial stage of the process, including delivering his family’s two cats to the RSPCA for assessment. Kurt is extremely remorseful and, like everyone at the club, fully understands the depth of feeling surrounding the incident and the need for action to be taken.” West Ham said in a statement.

The RSPCA has taken the cat from the home of Zouma, and all other domestic cats as well.

“They’ve been taken for a check-up at a vet and then will remain in our care while the investigation continues.

“We’re grateful to everyone who expressed their concern for these cats. We were dealing with this issue before the video went viral online and are leading the investigation.

“We continue to investigate so we cannot comment further at this time.” The RSPCA said.
