Bayern Munich Only Claim A Draw in Their UEFA Champions League Return! The Bavarians drew against the Austrian champions last night.

Bayern Munich drew 1-1 away to RB Salzburg in the UEFA Champions League last night. They will hope for a better showing in the second leg.

The home side were the much less fancied opponents going into the encounter. This is because of the size and stature of Bayern Munich.

The Germans also have the best player in the world, in Robert Lewandowski.

Salzburg took the lead through an Adamu strike in the first half. The young man came on as a substitute in the 20^th minute and scored with his first touch, resulting in absolute pandemonium.

Bayern equalised late in the game through a Kingsley Coman strike.

“The team gave everything.” Adamu told UEFA.com.

“I’m really proud, so let’s carry on in the same vein. It’s not over yet.

“There were some slightly tired legs out there. We ran out of energy a little bit towards the end, but we fought well.

“In the second leg, everything will be on the line,” Adamu added.

“It’ll be all about winning. It won’t be easy.

“They [Bayern] will be trying to win as well, but we’ll give it our best shot.”
